WELCOME

Welcome to MA Arts Practice (Arts, Health and Wellbeing).

The course reflects the breadth of practice within the field of arts, health and wellbeing in providing scope for multifarious forms of creativity, from participation and socially engaged practice, to site-specific art works aimed at enhancing healthcare settings. The programme is informed by strategic developments, current work and research and is designed to equip students with the tools and principles they need to succeed within this increasingly valued and expanding area of professional arts practice.

STUDENT SHOWCASE

Throughout the MA our students are encouraged to develop their particular areas of arts practice and to create work which is purposeful and ambitious in enhancing health and wellbeing. The projects completed by our graduates have been informed by their individual creative languages and interests. Their creativity encompasses visual arts, dance, illustration, storytelling, music, ceramics, film and photography, presenting a diverse community of practices and contributing to the evolving and vital field of arts, health and wellbeing.
